The Book Ends
Greenville, SC
A mixed use building with loft residences and commercial space. References to Greenville’s early 20th century storefronts combine with contemporary aesthetics and intentional passive solar design strategies.
Passive solar features such as thermal mass design and the strategic use of balconies as solar shades combine with active technologies — a high-efficiency centralized water source heat pump ensures superior energy efficiency. A private balcony or roof terrace connects each residence to the outdoors.
