The David E. Shi Center for Sustainability promotes interdisciplinary research of and teaching in support of sustainability on campus and in the greater community.
An ecologically integrated built environment supports this work, extending from interior work spaces to gardens and the community. The design explores themes of renewable energy, design for wellness, connection to the land, and water and resource stewardship.
