Johnston Design Group welcomes Phillip Hale

Phillip Hale has joined us as an architectural draftsman, working primarily on our residential projects. He started doing carpentry thirty years ago and began working in AutoCAD in 1991.

He studied at Technical College of the Lowcountry and obtained his residential builder’s license in 2016. Phillip says he had always wanted to work for an architectural firm, so when he heard we were looking for someone who knew REVIT and had field experience, he contacted us.

Phillip has lived in Colorado, where he got hooked on skiing, and in Phoenix, where he started trail running. He’s also lived in Hilton Head.

At one point, he and his wife sold their house, bought a camper and packed up their three kids and two dogs to become full-time RV’ers. Now he’s settled here in Greenville and we’re excited to have him be a part of Johnston Design Group.
