Johnston Design Group welcomes Kristen Sullivan

Kristen Sullivan has joined us as an architectural and interior designer. She was born here, earned her BFA and M Arch from SCAD in Savannah, and spent two years in Atlanta as an interior designer before returning to Greenville.

Her plan is to help the firm build its interior design practice and gain more experience in documentation and construction, to work toward a position in project management. “I felt like the culture was a good fit,” Kristen says, adding that she likes the firm’s emphasis on learning and professional growth.

In addition to her interior design work, she also has an interest in graphic design and owns a stationery business. From her point of view, her graphic design informs her work in architectural and interior design, and contributes to her professional development.

In addition to her work, Kristen is active in her community, volunteering as an assistant teacher at Allen Temple AME Church and the West Greenville Summer Camp. “I work with underprivileged children of all ages,” she says. “I expose them to various arts and cultural activities, we take field trips, and I love seeing the positive changes in these kids over the course of the summer.”
